Season without seasons

The eternal Encroachment from nature, season without seasons of Vu Hong Nguyen must be chasing mysterious streaks of time, which are invisibly attached to anyone anywhere in their destiny and the destiny of the earth. This unique flowing brush of Nguyen, like a bamboo strand has, since the very beginning, softly touched and tied pieces up together, either one place to another or this to the other. These visions can be worrisome or sometimes doubtful but at the end, peacefully mark the ever-changing forms of Nature, of sky and of earth. These weave in between one another, connecting and recalling times past, then suddenly wake up the image which we are trying to return to. 

With a fierce instinct, yet still calm, Vu Hong 

Nguyen silently wanders along his dream lands, through all time layers in the paintings.Yet he opens the door so that his brush can talk easily to the grassthe winds and the clouds, his vision can fly freely high above while his body lies down in the stream of time, flowing to infinity.

With a sense of weightlessness facing his obsessive palette, Nguyen commences his brush in a softly way as he seeks to peacefully keep hold of the Encroachment of nature. Vu Hoang Nguyen’s abstract painting, with a unique variation of acrylic, silently creates a fossil of the advice of the Unconsciousness, revealing to us the surreal Moon which shines upon and calls the green fields, through each and every painting…
